Mechanics of the courslet

Hi - a couple of things - I think we should open the comments section up now, and advertise (I can do this, this evening, and I hope the other students come into the discussion, beyond j/j, Christine, and myself. The conversation is interesting - most of it occurs in the comments - and, at least for me, I'm learning something. So please come into the discussion and thanks!, Alan

  3. Hi - I'll send out an announcement later tonight. Registered users or users with OpenID can comment; I just changed it.

    Thanks, Alan

  4. Alan, it would be useful if we could have a list of latest posts and latest comments in the sidebar. Is there a Blogger widget or theme that would enable that? I'm more used to Wordpress so I'm not sure what features Blogger offers. I ask this because I keep wanting to go back to a particular comment or discussion but I can't remember exactly where they are and as the blog grows, things are harder to find.

  5. Can you subscribe to the blog? At my end it says subscribe by email - that might tell you when something is added, and where. I'm not sure what else to do - I don't know Blogger widgets at all unfortunately; I'm not that familiar with the software.

  6. Thanks, Alan. I'd assumed that was a search field at top right, [cringe] hadn't read the label. I have now subscribed!

  7. Thanks - hope others will join in as well. I'll add a post I put up yesterday on Facebook dealing with Natalie Portman in the Black Swan - her prosthetic legs (read anorectic avatar / pain) were on display at The Museum of the Moving Image here in Queens -
